現地調査で直面した、内部と外部を厳しく分断する煉瓦壁。 その重みを解放するため、遺産を静的に「維持」するのではなく、 「解体」と「再構築」を同時に行う動的な保存を試みた。

既存の壁をワイヤーで吊るし、浮遊させるシステムへと変容させる。 重い壁は軽やかな媒介となり、異なる時間がシームレスに融解していく。 それは、過去を未来の「原風景」として、その土地に編み直すプロセスである。

During the site investigation, I encountered a brick wall that imposed a rigid divide between interior and exterior. To liberate the structure from its inherent weight, I pursued a “dynamic preservation”—an approach that moves beyond static maintenance toward a simultaneous process of deconstruction and reconstruction.

By suspending the existing bricks with cables, I transformed the structure into a floating system. The once-heavy mass becomes a weightless medium, allowing different layers of time to seamlessly dissolve into one another. It is a process of reweaving the past back into the site as an “archetypal landscape” for the future.
